Between our full staff we cleaned 15 furnaces and 15 condensers today. Everything is so covered in soot and ash that I continue to be surprised by each condenser I find that is dirtier than the last.
Fortunately we are having a $99 service special plus the price of your furnace filter for any customer in the okanagan to assist recover from the Bald Range forest fire.

We installed a new outdoor condenser for a very busy orchardist in Summerland. We got this unit installed 2 weeks later than expected due to the evacuation but just in the nick of time for the fruit coming in from the fields.
Along with the new condenser we replaced the txv on the evaporator for the new R448A refrigerant.

I'm headed out to Princeton this morning to work on an air conditioner.
I stopped at Lordco to pick up an air freshener because I'm getting sick and tired of smelling smoke. I grabbed the Smokex freshener from ArmorAll, it's claims of dealing with smoke smells will be tested!
I'm crossing my fingers, toes and eyes that it works as well as it claims.

Good morning to everybody in the Okanagan and welcome home to all those affected by the terrible fires.
As some of you may know, I lost my home to the fire out in Faulder. It's been incredibly disruptive and frankly terrifying to go through. The good news is my family and all our pets are safe and things can be replaced.
For this post I thought I'd be positive about what I'm going through personally:
I've been complaining about my beat up old work boots for years but I've always found an excuse to not replace them. "They were good enough", "all they need is a new insole" etc. Those boots were consumed by the fire and I was forced to get new ones. So attached is a picture of my brand new boots I'll be wearing to replace a condensing unit for one of Summerland's orchardists this morning.

After a lot of careful consideration, G.P.H. Mechanical Ltd. Has decided we are going to narrowly focus our attention on servicing the food pizza industry in Summerland and adjacent communities.
We clearly see that the future will be a place where pizza and other quasi Italian foods will be the only cuisine available and we intend to dominate the pizza mechanical support role.
