Crew day at Kart Plex ๐Ÿ
Our teams put in serious work out there every day, so it was refreshing to trade the hi-vis for a helmet for a few hours. Great food, better company, and a whole lot of people who now think they're F1 drivers ๐Ÿ˜‚

Summerland Sanitary Landfill Phase 3A Lateral Expansion: Project Kickoff ๐Ÿšง๐Ÿšจ

OCC crews started work this week on the Phase 3A Lateral Expansion at the Summerland Sanitary Landfill. This one involves some serious technical scope including
๐Ÿ”นNew waste cell construction
๐Ÿ”นGeomembrane, non-woven geotextile, and geosynthetic clay liner
๐Ÿ”นLeachate management infrastructure and tie-in to existing with HDPE pipe
๐Ÿ”นLeachate ditching and leachate sump maintenance hatch
๐Ÿ”นConstruct landfill access roads and ramps within Phase 3
๐Ÿ”นMajor earthworks across the site

Victoria Road South Phase 2, District of Summerlandโ€“ Project Complete! ๐Ÿšง

OCC has wrapped up Phase 2 of the Victoria Road South upgrades in Summerland. Picking up from Phase 1 near Dunham Crescent, our crew extended 600 meters south to the Prairie Valley Road roundabout, delivering a fully reconstructed road, a brand new 3-metre multi-use pathway, pedestrian improvements to the sports fields area, and watermain upgrades along Dale Meadows Road, which include a new 300mm domestic main on Dale Meadows and a new 500mm irrigation main on Victoria Road.

Water Infrastructure Upgrades in Penticton

OCC is proud to be on the ground in Penticton working on the city's Water Infrastructure Upgrade project!

Phase 1 is underway now in the Wiltse neighbourhood. Our crews are installing a new 300mm Evergreen Reservoir feeder main along Dartmouth Drive, Balsam Avenue, and Evergreen Drive, complete with major excavation, road restoration, and a new sidewalk along Balsam Ave. Phase 2 kicks off in the fall with a raw water main replacement along Lakeshore Drive.
