I'm Justin R***a, a Journeyperson Carpenter with over 15 years professional experience. As the owner of R***a Framing, I work independently throughout Edmonton and the Sturgeon County area, specializing in basement framing at piece-rate for home builders and contractors. I take pride in delivering clean, code-ready work, built right the first time. I communicate clearly, work well with other sub-trades, and contribute to a productive, team-orientated job site. I’m always looking to build long-term working relationships that benefit both sides. Reliable, efficient framing that helps your projects run smoother. When I'm not framing, I'm spending time with my wife and 2 daughters on our acreage in Sturgeon County.

At R***a Framing, precision matters. This laser shows a door opening framed perfectly plumb — making drywall installation and door hanging much easier. I always make the effort to work with other trades to keep the building process running smoothly.

Why load lumber inside instead of cutting outside?
The first step on every basement framing project is marking wall locations and getting all lumber stacked inside where the work is happening. Here’s why:

✅ Protects material – Lumber left in the sun can warp, and can make pieces unuseable. Rain or snow can add unwanted moisture. Indoor storage leaves materials more secure on site, protecting from theft.
✅ Keeps the site efficient – Materials sitting in the yard can block deliveries or get in the way of other trades.
✅ Saves time – Having everything on hand inside speeds up the framing process and keeps the workflow clean.

Good prep sets the tone for smooth framing ex*****on.
