The details that make a stronger drawer✨

Chase is working at our dedicated dado saw, a setup that lets us get straight to work without changing out the blade stack on the panel saw each time. The dado creates a precise groove in the drawer box sides to securely hold and support the bottom panel, providing a strong, reinforced base. We’re also testing our new compact dust collector, which wheels alongside the saw to collect dust right where we’re working.

Crafting the details behind our Contemporary Acreage project.

BEHIND THE DOORS ✨

A closer look inside these contemporary wardrobes, where every section has a purpose.

Full-height hanging provides room for long dresses and coats, while half hanging keeps shirts and blouses easy to find, with shelves below for folded jeans and sweaters.

Multiple adjustable shelves offer flexible storage for shoes and other everyday items, with room to adapt as our homeowners’ needs change. Taking the cabinetry all the way to the ceiling maximises the storage available, including space up top for seasonal items.

Designed in collaboration with Roost Design Co., these wardrobes frame the fireplace and help define the primary bedroom.

Intentional design, inside and out.

⭐️ STORAGE THAT WORKS FOR YOU ⭐️

Chase dialing in the adjustable shelves on this slide-out pantry.
Six shelves you can set where you need them. More space for taller bottles like olive oil, tighter spacing for spices and smaller items.
Everyday flexibility, right where it counts.

It was great to welcome Alen from CAREERS to the shop and receive this recognition for Southern Stars Custom Woodwork.

Recognition is always appreciated, but what means the most to me is the reason behind it. Giving young people room to learn, find their feet and see what they’re capable of is something I care about deeply.

Chase has been a great addition to our team. Watching his skills and confidence grow reminds me of the apprentices we’ve worked with before him. I still remember the life lessons I learned from the tradespeople around me during my own apprenticeship. Their example has stayed with me, and it’s something I think about now as we support young people through those early years.

Thank you, Alen and the team at CAREERS, for connecting young people with opportunities like this. And well done, Chase. You’re a big part of why this recognition means so much.

Hopefully, we’re crafting good cabinetmakers and good people along the way.
