Unlike many women, men seem to have the reputation of being unable to multitask. Well, at Windbreak Farm the last couple of weeks, Bob has been giving it a try! He has been painting the greenhouse, dismantling a section of the back deck and, then using the reclaimed deck materials to build a new clothes stoop. His head is spinning!

Just a friendly reminder from Windbreak Farm to clean your chimney! And… to make sure that your firewood is well seasoned and dry! Cold weather will be arriving soon whether we like it or not!

In recent weeks, Bob has been building a new garden shed/greenhouse here at Windbreak Farm. Hopefully, it will be completed by the end of the month or early September.

At the beginning of 2024, Bob and Cathy officially closed their business Windbreak Farm Wood Works. Bob continues to do some casual woodworking for others and all nearby woodlots are still his happy places. Today since the wheat has been harvested in the surrounding fields, Cathy and Bob are trimming the trees on the east side of Windbreak Farm .
