This illumination has been a concept of mine for over 6 months now and I was finally able to bring it to life in this piece! It consists of 4 layers of thick plexiglass, etched with a utility knife, and then painted with acrylic. I also built the walnut frame to house the work and LED lights. The design is based on the Isotropic Vector Matrix from the work of Buckminster Fuller. If you want to learn more, check out - also thanks to for the geometric reference!
