Meet Fara.

Built for Jess and Chris of Colorado, Fara was designed around a pretty simple idea: create a camper van that could keep up with their love of the outdoors while still feeling like home at the end of a long day.

Jess and Chris wanted to live and work on the road full-time, with plenty of room for the things they love most, from hiking and rock climbing to skiing. That meant the build needed to do more than look good. It had to be comfortable, practical, and ready for adventure in every season.

So we built those priorities into every part of Fara.
Hydronic in-floor heating for cold-weather adventures
Air conditioning for warmer days
Recirculating shower for comfortable off-grid living
Reliable internet connectivity for working remotely
Dedicated storage for skis, climbing gear, and adventure equipment
A functional, comfortable interior designed for full-time van life

The result is a true home on wheels that gives Jess and Chris the freedom to chase the next trail, climbing route, ski hill, or mountain town without giving up the comforts of home.

And the best part? She’s out there doing exactly what she was built to do.
Follow along with Jess & Chris to see where Fara takes them next.

You asked, we’re answering 👇

One of the questions that came in through our Stories was: “What do you use for tiles in the bathroom?”

For our camper van builds, we use self-adhesive tiles. They’re lightweight and better suited to life on the road, where constant movement and vibration can cause rigid materials like porcelain to crack or loosen.

It’s all about choosing materials that look great and make sense for a home on wheels.

Have a question about our builds? Drop it in the comments or keep an eye on our Stories for the next Q&A.

Step inside Dawg Haus — where thoughtful design meets serious comfort.

This Mercedes Sprinter 170 Extended was designed to feel less like a van and more like a true home on wheels, with a two-room layout, dedicated bedroom, dual galley kitchen, and a two-room bathroom and shower setup.

Inside, you’ll find:
Split-top electric adjustable bed
Isotherm Cruise 200 fridge
Electric combo oven
UV-filtered water system
Scanvik faucet
Custom walnut shower tray
USB charging ports throughout
Integrated control center
Lonseal marine-grade flooring with hydronic in-floor heat
LED accent lighting
Handcrafted epoxy river countertop
Custom Thames River-inspired ceiling

And with 1,200Ah of battery power, 800W of solar and Starlink, Dawg Haus is just as capable off-grid as it is comfortable inside.

Every feature has a purpose. Every detail was built around the way this van would actually be lived in.

This is the kind of custom camper van that makes you rethink what “home” can look like.

From liquid epoxy to the centrepiece of a custom van.

This deep blue epoxy countertop was poured, shaped, and finished by hand before making its way into the van — adding a bold, one-of-a-kind detail to the interior.

Look up and you’ll see one of the most unique details in this custom camper van.

Inspired by the Thames River in London, Ontario, this sculptural ceiling was completely designed and built by hand. Each curve was carefully laid out and shaped using cordless Milwaukee tools — no CNC machining, no shortcuts, just hours of hands-on craftsmanship.

But it’s more than a statement piece.

The integrated Govee smart lighting system lets you completely change the atmosphere from your phone. With the ability to:
Choose from almost any colour
Sync lighting to music
Run preset effects, from thunderstorms to emergency lighting
Customize individual sections with different colours and lengths
Adjust brightness and set automatic timers
Connect with Alexa or Google Home

Whether it’s soft ambient lighting after a day on the road or an animated light show at camp, the ceiling can set the mood for whatever comes next.

Custom camper van design doesn’t have to stop at function. Sometimes, it can be functional art.
