New 400 amp service for this barn with a
stand-by generator.

1500’ of primary cable from the road back to a transformer and then feeding a new service that feeds an existing barn and a new barn with 2 hammer mill feed systems.

Service calls

This 200 amp automatic transfer switch decided to stop working. It was almost 20 years old and tired. We looked for parts to fix it but the parts were more expensive than a new one so we replaced it.

This barn was fully occupied with pigs so we had to change the transfer switch in a time sensitive manner. Total power outage time was less than 40 minutes.

Did you know in some pig barns they have toys for the pigs to play with? In this barn they did!

We completed this project in 2024 but never got around to posting it.

It sure seems like all we do is pig barns… maybe that’s because we wire ALOT of them!

Sow barn!

Did you know that we do all types of agricultural projects? This Sow barn was completed with a new 200 amp panel that was fed from an existing service with a stand-by generator.

Poultry: Layer Barns

We had a great experience with this new state of the art layer barn. It’s great to see the innovation that is going into agriculture and even more fun to be apart of it. Another 1500 head addition on this finishing barn completed and ready for pigs! We also have to upgrade the electrical service to 400 amps as the existing 200 amp service will now be overloaded. Stay tuned for those pictures!

We sell and install stand-by generators.

Last week we added a new 400 amp main disconnect and auto transfer switch on this farm with a new 60kw stand-by generator. The old generator only fed the pig barn and had to be started manually. Now the new generator automatically starts within 30 seconds of a power outage and also runs a house and 2 shops. No more late nights going out to start a generator for our happy customer!
