𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀.

For older people, people with disabilities, families with young children or long-distance travellers, finding clean, accessible, and easy-to-use public toilets can really make a difference.

This focus on people’s needs was the goal that drove the intervention carried out by SANO2 - bagni autopulenti for 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗧 𝗽.𝗔. 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗶 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗱, along the A15 Parma-La Spezia Highway.

Inside existing space we installed two self-cleaning washrooms, 𝗦𝟰 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗛 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝟰 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗡. After each use, S4 technology automatically cleans and disinfects the facilities, while 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗢𝟮 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧® enables remote monitoring of washrooms’ status and supports maintenance operations.

The intervention was completed in 𝟵 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 and includes 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Case Pesci Nord is SANO2 first supply contract for SALT as part of the renovation of public washrooms along the A15 and marks the beginning of a new collaboration.

For many car drivers, a stop lasts only a few minutes. Families may require different amounts of time and different services, while the arrival of tourist coaches can result in a large number of users accessing the facilities at the same time. For 𝗛𝗚𝗩 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀, on the other hand, a service area may become a place to stay during breaks and rest periods, making 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁. Its size, the intensity of user flows, seasonal peaks, average length of stay and management requirements all affect the number of facilities, the organization of spaces and the technologies to be adopted.

In more complex settings, the project can go beyond the concept of a single public washroom and become a fully-fledged multifunctional hub, where washrooms and complementary services are organized as part of an integrated system.

To celebrate the opening of 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗢𝟮’𝘀 new headquarters in 𝗖𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗲, we brought the whole team together for three special days.

The programme combined a visit to Milan, shared meals and celebrations at the new headquarters, alongside opportunities to reflect on our journey so far and our goals for the future.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼 𝗡𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶, 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗢𝟮’𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. Amid the laughter, hugs and carefree moments, there was also time to listen and exchange ideas.

From 𝟭𝟭 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟯 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, the whole SANO2 - bagni autopulenti staff will travel to Milan to inaugurate the new SANO2 branch in 𝗖𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗲 (𝗠𝗜).

The office and production plant acquisition represents a significant investment and a further step in the company’s development. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗢𝟮.

For four days the 𝗥𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝘁𝘁𝗮𝘄𝗮 will host one of Canada’s leading events for the municipal sector, bringing together local government officials, public administrators, professionals and businesses involved in shaping the future of cities and improving quality of life in urban communities.

In the Menotre Valley, the “𝗥𝗶-𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼 𝗶𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗼” (𝘓𝘦𝘵’𝘴 𝘳𝘦-𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦) project promoted by the Municipality of Foligno, brings together villages, landscape, 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 and new spaces dedicated to rest and visitor facilities.

In Casenove, Belfiore and Pale, SANO2 supplied three 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛 𝗛 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀, designed to be integrated into the facilities provided as part of the regeneration project.

An indoor solution, fully accessible and equipped with a stainless steel baby changing unit, designed to ensure continuity of service and consistently high hygiene standards across three different locations.

This project demonstrates how even essential facilities can contribute to the success of a wider regeneration strategy, turning landscape enhancement into a 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁, 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮.
