It was a tremendous honour to be able to fabricate and install the baseboard in this room above the Narthex at St Elias the Prophet Ukrainian Catholic Church in Brampton. Saint Elias Church The baseboard was done entirely using reclaimed and left over rift sawn douglas fir that all needed to be planed and ripped to size. St Elias is preparing for their upcoming 50th Anniversary weekend October 10th. Ksenia and I will be at St Elias on Saturday October 3rd between 10 am - 4pm for doors open Brampton if you wanted to come checkout this magnificent building (modeled after St George's church in Drohobych Ukraine a Boyko style masterpiece and a unesco world heritage site.) St Elias and St Georges are the only Boyko churches in the world with 5 towers and domes. Thank you to Father Tom, Father David, and Ilya!

Had alot of fun building this double gate, fence and Pergola for my friend Michaela Fernandes we designed the pergola in mind for the blue wisteria on the left to grow all over and flower which is going to look incredible! The details on the rafters were viking inspired... row! This was done using MicroPro Sienna pressure treated lumber! Still have to go back and end grain seal those rafters! This was just a small project over a few days but it turned out really cool!

Just a little weekend project, going to be stained off white by homeowner! Keeps with original aesthetic of this beautiful Stouffville century home. I always like to router my own trim for the these because I want the wood to be naturally rot resistant (cedar/douglas fir) rather than relying on the stain for the rot resistance. I cringe when I see people using indoor grade wood mouldings outside. local wood from Century Mill Lumber

"Don't take any photos of me and don't send anything to Ksenia," is what I said right before it was taken. "Why?" my grandmother said. "Does she think you are working?" "Yes," is what I said.
