Rapid Plow & Landscape Services/ Supplies

Rapid Plow & Landscape Services/ Supplies Serving Parkland County & Surrounding Areas including Edmonton. Road Crush, Arena Sand, Topsoil etc supplied with delivery. Rural & Commercial.

What started as just one simple skid steer has grown to include plow trucks, street sweepers, sanding trucks, rough cut mowing, trenching and dump truck services. RURAL SNOW CLEARING & REMOVAL

We do a large amount of acreage driveways and from time to time the odd city driveway. Driveways are usually quite affordable as the plow truck with the 10ft blade can do a simple driveway in two passes. Th

e parking area can take some more time depending on the shape and amount of obstacles. City driveways we offer snow removal when you run out of space. Teaming up with your neighbors is usually the most cost effective way as there will only be one travel fee between all the neighbors

COMMERCIAL SNOW CLEARING & REMOVAL

We deal with a large amount of commercial sites including large companies like Lucerne and Apollo Machine to small companies like Burger Baron. Whether it be just simple clearing into large piles of snow or full removal of snow off site we can handle it. Our team has been doing commercial locations for over 12 years now. We have a lot of experience and have never had a complaint yet. SNOW REMOVAL

We relocate any requested snow to the Edmonton Snow Storage facilities. It requires the use of at least the skidsteer and the dump trailer. The dump trailer can haul just as much as your average dump truck but is quicker to load. The dump trailer is also less likely to get stuck or cause any damage to non-paved areas. For large snow removal jobs for commercial locations we use a team of dump trucks. We always strive to give the customer the most affordable alternatives. SANDING SERVICES

We provide sanding rock chip, sand and salt mix for parking lots and driveways. SWEEPING SERVICES

Our large street sweepers can handle most types of parking lots requiring cleaning with much less dust then a skidsteer setup.

Serving Parkland, Lac Ste. Anne & Leduc Counties
Tired of deep ruts and soft spots? Fix your driveway right with Engineered Road Crush—delivered with free tailgate spreading included!

(Base pricing for most of Parkland County & Southern Lac Ste. Anne)
3/4"(20mm), 1.5”(40mm) Engineered Road Crush
12 Tons (24,000 lbs): $450 (Max load size for 75% road limit)
15.5 Tons (31,000 lbs): $560 (Requires 100% road limits)

What it is:
A true engineered gravel mix put through a series of machines to both crush the rock and blend it with exact percentages of smaller particles and a mineral binder so it packs rock-solid.

Why it works:
A proper mix needs small and large particles to fill every void and create a solid, impermeable layer. If you have air pockets, water penetrates and turns your subsoil wet and soft—which is exactly how deep ruts form in your driveway.

The Quality Difference:
Some pits do a rough mixture to get an "ok" result. This product is regularly compaction-tested by a third party to ensure it strictly meets road construction specs for the City of Edmonton and Parkland County.

Delivery & Permit Details:
This includes delivery to most of Parkland County and some of Lac St. Anne County. We can deliver further, but there will be an additional surcharge to cover fuel and time.

Be aware Lac St. Anne has road bans on non-highway paved roads all year long. We work directly with the county offices to attain your road allowance permits: Parkland and Lac St. Anne permits are free; Leduc and Sturgeon County are $37 for a permit.

Other Aggregates Available:
80mm (3") Road Crush: 12 tons $450 / 15.5 tons $560

Special Weather Statements, and Snowfall Warnings, and Winter Storm Warnings. Oh My! 😮

Our incoming system has resulted in a variety of different weather alerts being issued across the province by Environment Canada. Some of these alerts have already been cancelled or replaced throughout the morning so we're going to share the latest look at the situation, as of 12pm.

We have two large Special Weather Statements currently in effect. The first one stretches across a majority of Northern Alberta to the north of Slave Lake. This details explain that 10-20cm of snow is expected by Wednesday, with local amounts up to 30cm.

The southern Special Weather Statement varies slightly over its coverage area, advising that 5-15cm or 10-20cm of snow is expected. The 5-15cm range is for areas closer to the American border while the 10-20cm range expands northward. The Statement also mentions that blowing snow is expected on Tuesday over open areas.

The Snowfall Warning covers the southern areas of Northern Alberta (from Slave Lake southward) and parts of Central Alberta, including Edmonton. This Warning is for heavy snow with accumulations of varying from 10-20cm in the west to 15-25cm, with up to 30cm locally, in the east.

The Winter Storm Warning stretches northward from Calgary to Red Deer and expands eastward to the Saskatchewan border. This Warning states that heavy snow with accumulations of 15-30cm are likely, with local amounts possibly reaching 40cm. Blowing snow will also be a concern here due to 60km/h wind gusts, which has prompted a marginally stronger warning than just a Snowfall Warning.

We hope this helps some of the confusion surrounding who has what kind of alert in place ahead of the storm that will start to pick up later this afternoon and into the evening.

Plowing the park path in preparation for the fireworks 🎆

12/24/2025

‘Twas the night before plowing, and all through the yard,
The plows sat in silence, their engines on guard.
The sand piles were ready, the spreaders aligned,
For winter’s big challenge was soon to unwind.

The forecast had promised a blizzard with might,
So crews donned their gear in the cold of the night.
With coffee in thermos and radios near,
They waited for snowflakes to finally appear.

Then out on the road there arose such a sight,
A blanket of white in the glow of moonlight!
Away to their trucks they flew in a dash,
To battle the storm with a rumble and splash.

The blades cut the drifts with a thunderous cheer,
Clearing the roads for all to steer clear.
Salt sprinkled like magic to melt icy glaze,
While plow lights were dancing in shimmering rays.

Through cul-de-sacs, roadways, and long rural lanes,
They worked without rest through fatigue and the strains.
For safety’s their mission, their pride never small,
They answer the call for the good of us all.

So here’s to the plow crews, old and new
Who conquer the snow so you can get through.
May warm meals await you and roads stay clear,
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!

Q: I noticed that when the grader cleared the road there was a snow ridge left behind, will the County come and remove it?

A: Great question! When our graders clear the roads, a snow ridge can sometimes be left behind. Under the current snow removal policy, residents are responsible for clearing these ridges from their driveways.

We know this can be a challenge, so we’ve put together some helpful tips to make it easier to reduce the size of the ridge. Check them out at www.parklandcounty.com/snowremoval
