Are you an experienced equipment operator looking for steady, well-organized winter work? AK Contracting is expanding its Snow & Ice division and is looking for reliable Skid Steer, sidewalk, and Truck/Trailer Operators to join our team this season.

We offer full-time, part-time, and on-call opportunities — perfect for operators seeking either consistent work or extra hours during the winter months.

What You’ll Do:

Operate skid steers, sanding trucks, and other snow equipment
Safely load and unload equipment using proper work practices
Perform seasonal sanding truck operations for parking lots and roadways
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Accurately complete daily work-related documentation
Work efficiently to clear snow and ice from lots, driveways, and walkways
Follow all local health & safety laws and company safety protocols
What We’re Looking For:

Experience with skid steers
Experience with truck & trailer operation an asset
Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in fast-paced conditions
Flexibility—winter work is weather dependent, so being available on short notice is key
Strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
If you’re an experienced operator looking for flexible work, competitive pay, and the chance to join a professional snow removal team, we’d love to hear from you.
