PUBLIC NOTICE TO
RESIDENTS OF STONY MOUNTAIN WATER SYSTEM
(Now includes former Bristol Water Residents)

Water Main Flushing will commence from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on each of the following days:
Tuesday - May 20, 2025
Wednesday - May 21, 2025
Thursday – May 22, 2025
Friday – May 23, 2025

During the hours of flushing the water could be shut down in portions of Stony Mountain up to a maximum of 1 (one) hour. We advise that you do not use any hot water until you have operated your cold-water faucet to clear the line of any discoloration that may occur following the flushing.

The Town of Stonewall is a great place to call home. The Town is located along Provincial Trunk Highway 67. Stonewall is just 25 kilometers north of Manitoba's capital city, Winnipeg.

The Town of Stonewall is advising its residents of a boil water advisory due to a large water main break on Thunderhill Drive, that caused the water reservoir to run low in water. This resulted in low water pressure and some areas having no water. Also, some residents may experience water discoloration which should resolve on its own as water is flushed.

Staff will be working throughout the day to repair the break as soon as possible.

A notification will be sent out once normal water usage can be resumed.

The Town of Stonewall has just received word that the Stonewall water system has met all conditions for rescinding the boil water advisory.

THE BOIL WATER ADVISORY IS LIFTED.

Please be advised that a BOIL WATER ADVISORY has been issued for the Town of Stonewall due to a power outage causing a loss of water pressure in the distribution system.

The boil water advisory will remain in effect until the water supplied no longer presents a risk to public health. You will be notified when the advisory has been rescinded.
