Our client wanted to transform her back yard into a maintenance-free area where she could teach yoga.

The hardest part was the retaining wall: so much digging and moving earth and stones! It was anchored at both ends and in 3 locations in between: this retaining wall isn't going anywhere! Now the walkway (which is a shared access with her neighbours) looks great!

She didn't want to have to cut any grass, so it was all removed, covered with landscape fabric, and the whole area covered in river pebbles/stones.

The existing interlock was removed under where the new deck was going and added to the other side to extend it.

The upper deck was repaired, reinforced, and the privacy screen replaced.

The lower deck is about 12 x 16 feet, and like the upper deck, is clad in Trex Transform series worry-free composite decking.

The privacy screen was made of several types of wood, cut to various widths and heights to give that random feel. The added touch was the steel yin and yang symbol, that was zinc coated, then powder coated for durability.

The part of the privacy screen that was cut out ended up in the small flower garden.

The customer was very happy with the work, and said it exceeded her expectations.

This was a bathroom renovation gone bad where we were able to rescue this project and really turn this house around.
This house ended up selling for $26.000.00 more than it was evaluated at prior to renovations, for for $8,000.00 more than compartables in the same condominium project.

Step one: relocate toilet and install shower.
Step 2: redo tile surround for both existing vanity and existing tub.

Step 3: Install infloor heating and tile floor.

Step 4: Install trim and paint.
