Borsellino Cabinets is super proud to be supporting another amazing local artists for my gift bags. When I complete my projects I always like to present a gift bag to the people with items that are for their project like a colour board, cleaning cloths and branded items I get produced. What I have always been passionate about is supporting fellow small business operator and local artists with having items in my bags. The Salt Shack Gift Shop makes these amazing little fish pieces that are so cute and feel so nostalgic for Newfoundland. So in each bag a fishy goes! I highly encourage everyone to check out their shop at 39 main road in port au port, which is just at the top of the hill after the Romains bridge. Personally my family has already a few items from this amazing artisan shop and knowing them makes it all the more special! You can also check out Arlims in town and see that have tours of the peninsula and have The Salt Shack Gift Shop on their tours!

Today I took the opportunity to make a teachable moment for my son with making people happy through supporting local businesses. We went into Danny’s bake shop and picked up two boxes of treats to share. I do my business banking with NLCU and the staff there are so nice, and next door, so we thought that was a great spot to share happiness through tasty! Hudson presented the box to his favourite team member and instantly smiles are made! Local business should always support local businesses and I think you can see with a glass eye I like tasty things! I challenge all my local and independent businesses and contractors to adapt a similar practise and see the smiles everywhere!

Borsellino Cabinets totally crushed another amazing kitchen cabinet transformation out in Cornerbrook for an incredible family. These doors are mdf and had a thermofoil coating that was failing all over. Jesse I am super appreciative to the trust in my craft for taking care of your kitchen. There was doubts before me they could be saved but I knew better! I got the magic baby! Putting my years and so many kitchens of experience to play! Vanilla Millshake is the colour used here and in place of the k***s new black appliance style 5” center to center handles were used. This totally makes for a whole new feel in this kitchen. With the cheap thermofoil coating gone and properly refinished this kitchen can serve this family for the years to come! Borsellino Cabinets was super happy to complete another little project on behalf of a great cabinet shop Cabinet & Design Studio! When two independent companies work together there is no stopping what can be done! Visit the studio to check out the design studio and have the great staff walk you through what can be design and fabricated for you! Some projects people just want to add a cabinet or two and this where teamwork shines! The craftsman in the shop fabricated the custom cabinet and delivered to my shop to be sprayed to get that beautiful finish that matches the existing cabinetry.

In addition to kitchen cabinet refinishing once in a while I get some requests for furniture refinishing. Just happens to be currently in the shop I have not only a dining table abut these chairs. Jeff Young reached out to take care of these and while I did the frames and he was taking care of the seat. Check out the amazing job that Jeff did on the seats what a beautiful stain job! Perfect pairing!
