Harvested the last 2 bags of potatoes today. Not a huge haul but they are delicious. 👩‍🌾

Everything is slowly being harvested in my garden and soon it will be time to replenish my soil with lots of organic fertilizers.

What do you do to replenish your soil after harvest?

All the Fall mums that were safely tucked away from last weekends storm and now back outside🍁

I still managed to clean up the last of my garlic after the crazy day we had🤣

Electric pressure cooker explosion.
In 13 years I’ve had and used Cuisinart, Ninja, instapot, and this Chef IQ. NEVER had an issue. I know how to use properly and safely. This was this machines first use - everything looked normal, no indication of a faulty model.

Well it was a crazy day in Mrs. Brown’s Kitchen today.

It started perfect with me going to get Heather some onion and a few carrots for dinner. After she put the meat on with the onion I went out to the shed to finish cleaning up my garlic.

While I was outside I heard a scream which I thought was coming from down the street but then Heather came outside and said come quick.

I went in to find that the pressure cooker had exploded everywhere with greasy salt meat water. What a state.

Two and a half hours later into cleaning the entire kitchen from top to bottom she realized she was starving and had a chicken and beef in the oven.

Needless to say we didn’t cook any veggies to go with the dinner after this mess and we were planning on feeding our 5 parents and ourselves. So now it’s Lester's Farm Chalet to the rescue for supper and beef and chicken all week🤣
