If you have unused space in another area nearby, you have the ability to utilize it to make your desired room larger.

By eliminating this exterior door, it allowed us to use this hallway to expand the bathroom in order to fit the homeowner’s current needs for their home.

I’ve got zero regrets about choosing a career in carpentry. The apprenticeship program is one of the best pathways into the skilled trades, and we need more people taking that leap. 😉

Anyone can become a carpenter if they’re willing to put in the work and aren’t afraid to fail. Every mistake is a lesson, and every project makes you better than the last. Nobody starts out knowing all the tips, tricks, and techniques of the trade. You earn those through experience.

This trade is built on blood, sweat, determination, and a willingness to keep learning. You hone your craft one cut, one challenge, and one finished project at a time. The best carpenters weren’t born with the skills—they built them.
