At a total weight of 10,365 lbs, this fluid cooler is no small piece of equipment!

Delivered by D. Johnson Equipment, the cooler was hoisted into position and landed on an I-beam base by Black Tusk Cranes.

The base was pre-assembled two weeks ago by Chuck and Joel and features eight vibration isolators, designed to support an operational weight of over 18,000 lbs.
This equipment is responsible for rejecting the heat absorbed by the 197 heat pumps serving the residential, amenity, and commercial spaces throughout the project.

Standing over 10’ tall, 8.5’ wide, and 19’ long, there was zero margin for error—and the entire lift went perfectly to plan. Another impressive milestone for the team!

REQUIREMENTS  Red Seal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic Certification Valid Driver’s License Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in residential, commercial, and multi-family construction is an asset

DUTIES Install, service, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems Troubleshoot equipment issues Complete equipment start-ups and commissioning Follow company safety procedures and standards Work closely with project managers and site crews to complete projects efficiently

🎪🎉 Step right up... our annual Summer Staff Carnival was one for the books! What an incredible evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, amazing games, and even better company.

Gurajanpreet joined our HVAC team in April of this year and has quickly become a valuable part of the crew. From day one, he has shown a strong willingness to learn, consistently takes direction well, and is always ready to step in and help where needed.

He is a fast learner who is steadily building his skills and confidence in the field. Gurajanpreet’s work ethic and eagerness to grow have not gone unnoticed.

Another successful project completed! 👏

We’re proud to showcase this impressive mixed-use development in North Vancouver, featuring both residential units and commercial office spaces.

In these photos you’ll see several key mechanical systems that help keep the building running efficiently:

🔹 The large white piping is the domestic hot water system, providing reliable hot water throughout the building.

🔹 The black and orange piping is the hydronic heating and cooling system, with energy supplied by Lonsdale Energy Corporation, delivering efficient and sustainable comfort year-round.

🔹 Also featured are the water entry room and the LEC (Lonsdale Energy Corporation) room, critical components of the building’s infrastructure.

Projects of this scale require careful planning, coordination, and attention to detail, and we’re incredibly proud of the work our team delivered from start to finish.
