Pool mechanical rooms aren’t an afterthought, or at least, they shouldn’t be.

Where the equipment goes affects noise, freezing risk, maintenance access, drainage, and how clean the finished backyard feels.

Going back to 2020, on this project we integrated the mechanical room below the pool deck, tucked neatly next to the deep end, and protected, accessible, and out of sight.

We’ve placed pool mechanical spaces under deep ends, half-sunk under decks, and fully integrated into the landscape. The right solution depends on the site and the overall property plan.
