Pottery By Marilyn Marilyn has been creating pottery and sculptures most of her life. She presently works out of The Crooked Pot Gallery in Stony Plain, AB. That's the joy of clay.

Marilyn Henker has developed a unique style enriched with the flow and grace of the human body. Often her vases and bowls incorporate the features of a face or the human figure somewhere in the design. Marilyn's love affair with pottery started with her first class in Grade 10. When she retired in 2001, she began to pursue this art form full-time. Marilyn designs her pieces, guided not so much by

planning, but with more of an artistic "gut feeling" of what the piece should be. “I love how each piece is different and unique. You can be continuously creative.”
