“I don’t have a favourite place. I have my favourite people, and whenever I am with my favourite people, that place becomes my favourite.” ❤️

That quote couldn’t be more true for us.

Getting away isn’t always easy. Running a small business means there’s always work waiting, and with our son’s health challenges, anything more than a short distance away and for more than a few days just isn’t in the cards right now. So we are learning and being reminded again make the most of the little things. (We used to spend our vacation in our favourite place - a family tradition for more than 60 years).

This lake was recommended to us by one of our amazing customers, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed. Just a couple of days, not too far away, to unplug, breathe, sit on the beach, fish, make memories, and enjoy being together.

It reminded us that you don’t have to travel far to find something special. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones close to home, with the people who matter most.

We’re grateful for the recommendation, for the chance to recharge, and for every moment we get together as a family. 💙

Monday means it’s time to get after it.

Helmets down, hood flipped, and the shop is already heating up. With another hot week ahead, we’re putting in the work—fabricating, welding, and getting caught up on orders while restocking our fire pits.

This raised fire pit screen is just one of the projects rolling through the shop. Built with care, built to last, and made right here in Acheson, Alberta.

We appreciate everyone who’s chosen to support our small business. Now it’s back to fabrication, before the heat of the day gets to us!
