A few pics of the fire pit that was recently finished. The flag stone used is 2' black flag from ledgerock with fire brick in the center. I think it turned out nice ⚒️

I didn't really post to much during this job. I wanted to save it till now. This one was a tough go on my own but I think I nailed it. There was originally 3 tiers of 1 ft ft high single sided mortared walls. I salvaged the original stone and mixed it with new stuff. The stone was really nice to work with. All together it took 120 tons of stone to rebuild. The clients were very happy and encouraging through the whole process. Everyone that walked by had nothing but kind words.One of the nicest places I've ever worked (Port Elgin,On). This is my first job completed as Ritchie Stonework. Big thanks to Upper Canada Stone for the beautiful supply of stone.⚒️

I had a chance to do a few sessions of stone carving. Each session was with a different teacher. Nicolas fairplay, Tom whitehead and Danny barber. Good guys, top in their field.
