JOB POSTING-
▪︎Log Home Restoration & Repair is what we do.
▪︎Seasonal work, usually May-November depending on the weather.
▪︎2 labourer positions available.
▪︎1 log craftsman position available.
▪︎Wage will depend on experience and capabilities.
▪︎Must be able to travel away each week as projects span all of Ontario, home on weekends. Some projects are close to home base but project distance varies.
▪︎All accommodations and food is paid for when working out of our area.
▪︎Home base is near Prescott Ontario.
▪︎Must be able to work in a team environment.
▪︎Have a willingness to learn a niche trade.
▪︎Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with customers and sub trades.
▪︎Must have standard tools(hardhat, tape measure, hammer, square, safety boots etc)
▪︎Must have valid driver's license.
▪︎Working At Heights and WHMIS training is needed but not neccessary as we can get you certified.
▪︎Carpentry/timberframing/log building background and understanding would be a huge bonus.
▪︎Power and hand tool knowledge is a must.
▪︎Chainsaw experience is necessary.
A description of what you would be doing includes:
▪︎chinking
▪︎staining
▪︎grinding(using angle grinders to sand wood)
▪︎sanding
▪︎media blasting
▪︎pressure washing
▪︎scaffolding and ladder setup
▪︎operating man lifts
▪︎cutting/notching logs with chainsaws
▪︎replacing rotten logs
▪︎general all round log craftsman tasks.
