And just like that we’re into heating season!

Thank you to everyone that responded to the email a few months ago and booked ahead. We are currently fully booked for fireplace servicing until at least December.

Just a reminder if you would like your gas appliances serviced, to please book 1-2 years in advance in order to reserve your spot for the fall as it’s just me and I can only fit in so many.

I appreciate your patience and continued support as we go into my 12th year of business!

Permanent anchors make it safe for everyone that needs to work off your roof. One issue I’ve seen is disposable anchors being used as permanent, which there is no adequate way to seal them and they are not rated for an extended period. I have literally pulled them out by hand in the past, so they certainly wouldn’t sustain a fall. It’s almost worse as it gives a false sense of security to the user making them less cautious since they are roped in!

Sometimes you just have to be creative!

This croquet ball was. Perfect fit down the clean out and directly into the perimeter drain. How long it was down there for? Who knows, but long enough to accumulate a bunch of debris.

The homeowner’s basement started flooding so we got called in to try and figure out the problem when I found this guy.

A little preparation, some pipe, rags and adhesive worked like a charm! Now clear and inspect the line.
