Tonight the weather is going very cold and with the wind, the chances of freezing pipes increases, so everyone please take note of your plumbing. When in doubt, run some water to see.

Hello all! The weather is changing and it`s time to protect your pipes. Close the air vent windows in the basement or crawl space if not already, Drain your outside taps or cover them from the cold, and if your worried about freezing then perhaps you have to leave the tap running a bit or flush the toilet to get the water flowing every now and then. Stay warm and don't forget to reach out to others that may need help.

What are the chances? This Crane faucet was installed 30 + years ago and the installer forgot to install the the nuts that secure the water supply lines to the tap. The piping was just shoved into the taps and that was it, and it never leaked.
