🚧 Concrete Form Setter
Set, align, and brace wooden or steel forms for curbs, sidewalks, pads, and structural concrete according to project specifications and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and grade stakes.
- Build, position, and secure forms with stakes, bracing, and wedges.
- Check alignments, elevations, and angles using levels and transit equipment.
- Ensure forms are strong enough to withstand pressure from poured concrete.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in concrete form setting for commercial or residential projects.
- Strong understanding of grades, elevations, and layout measurements.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
🚧 Concrete Finisher
Smooth, finish, and cure concrete surfaces on driveways, walkways, pads, and commercial slabs to achieve clean, durable, and professional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Level, smooth, and compact poured concrete using screeds, floats, and trowels (manual and power trowels).
- Apply desired finishes (e.g., broom finish, smooth, exposed aggregate) and control joints.
- Monitor the curing process and apply curing compounds or sealers.
- Patch voids and fix surface defects.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience as a concrete finisher.
- Knowledge of concrete mix designs, setting times, and finishing techniques.
- Precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality work.
🚧 Concrete Labourer
Support concrete crew on job sites with prep work, pouring, cleanup, and material handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and clean job sites (excavation assistance, sub-grade leveling, setting up gravel bases).
- Assist in mixing, pouring, and wheeling concrete to placement areas.
- Tend to finishers and form setters by handing over tools and materials.
- Operate hand tools, tampers, saws, and compaction equipment safely.
Requirements:
- Eagerness to learn construction trades and work hard in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance, positive attitude, and strong team player mindset.
- Construction site experience is an asset, but a great work ethic is our top priority!
