🪱 THE HIDDEN UNDERGROUND CRISIS: Earthworms Need Your Help! 🪱
WHY HEALTHY SOIL MATTERS:
- Earthworms create essential tunnels that allow water, air, and plant roots to pe*****te soil
- One acre of healthy soil contains up to 1 MILLION earthworms processing 10 tons of soil annually
- Without their work, gardens become compacted, drought-prone, and nutrient-poor
- Hard, bare soil cannot support the microbiome that plants depend on
THE DOUBLE THREAT EARTHWORMS FACE:
- Heavy equipment and foot traffic compress soil, crushing tunnels and earthworms
- Removing fallen leaves eliminates their primary food source and soil protection layer

🚫🚫 STOP. THINK about how you roll your lawn this spring you may actually not want to do this with this type of roller.

Did you know ..... these driveway rollers are way to heavy for your lawn and just compacts the crap out of it and makes it hard like a driveway then needs alot of aeration and will still be bumpy and can lead to moss growth or hard patchy spots because it presses all the oxygen and moisture out of the soil the grass needs to thrive. The whole point of rolling a lawn after winter is to just press the grass layer back in to the soil as it sometimes separates from the freeze and defrost cycles with min 200 lbs not 1 ton. This may flatten it a bit as a one time thing but actually causes more issues then it's worth if done to often with this type of roller.

If you have dips in your lawn this won't fix it and it will still need to be filled in with new soil. Also An average home owners lawn soil is not suitable for this much compaction and it will only dry out way faster in the summer time and need more watering as there is not enough air pockets to hold moisture after this is done.

Also with a now compacted lawn as hard as a driveway water will not seep in as fast and can now actually hold puddles of water longer and cause flooding do to poor seepage. So ask yourself is this really worth it or should you do it right and not just the easiest, faster,cheaper way because this may actually end up costing you more
