What does lasting value look like? For us, it’s seeing our first wellsite trailer still in great condition 20 years after we built it.

In this week’s blog, we’re sharing the story behind our 2006 build and why practical design, quality workmanship and ongoing care matter throughout a building’s life.

From wellsite trailers to portable offices, mine drys and workforce accommodation, we build with the years ahead in mind.

Throwback Thursday! This was the very first wellsite trailer we built back in 2006, and it’s still in great condition today.

Twenty years later, it’s a reminder of what we strive for at TA Structures: building products that last.

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, TA Structures honours the children who never returned home from residential schools, the Survivors, and their families and communities.

We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Indigenous communities. We recognize that reconciliation is an ongoing responsibility one that begins with listening, learning, and building relationships rooted in respect.

We encourage everyone to take time today to reflect, listen to Indigenous voices, and learn about the history and lasting impacts of residential schools.

Strong projects start with good conversations.

As mining projects grow, every site has different needs. We work with our clients to understand their crews, operations and site requirements before putting a modular solution on paper.

From mine drys and offices to accommodations and support buildings, we’re proud to help build the spaces that keep projects moving.

Have a project in the works? Let’s start the conversation.

One of four modules coming together as part of a new modular classroom solution for Tl’etinqox School in Alexis Creek.

Portable classrooms have traditionally been designed with function as the main priority, but we believe they can offer so much more. At TA Structures, we create bright, clean and welcoming learning spaces with thoughtful design that students, staff and the entire community can feel proud of.

We are proud to collaborate with Indigenous communities on projects that support local priorities and create meaningful spaces for future generations. We can’t wait to see this project come together!

Remote mining projects demand a different approach to construction.

Limited site access, demanding climates, workforce requirements and tight project schedules can make traditional on-site construction challenging.

Modular construction allows significant portions of mine site infrastructure to be built in a controlled manufacturing environment while site preparation progresses separately.

From mine drys and washcars to workforce accommodations, offices and custom support facilities, TA Structures builds modular solutions for mining operations across North America.
