I was tired of having my cords getting bent and unplugging from behind the couch every time it got pushed up against the wall. So I decided to build a spacer for behind the couch.

I had some flooring leftover from renos when we first bought our house so I added it as a finish.

Final project looks great!!! Now cords are easily accessible, i added a light too so is easier to read from the couch. Bonus feature, it has a wireless charger as well. Shout out to my wife for putting the idea in my head 🥰
