Does your retractable screen door look like this?

Retractable screens are amazing because they disappear when you don't need them, but they are also complex mechanical systems.

Over time, the internal spring tension can become loose, causing the mesh to sag, bunch up, or get stuck inside the housing. Pets, kids (or adults lol) running into them can also tear the mesh or throw the whole system off.

We have good news though! Retractable screen doors can be fixed in many situations. We carefully disassemble the housing, clean out debris from the internal mechanisms, replace the damaged mesh with specialized high-flexibility fabric, and re-tension the internal spring system so it rolls up smoothly every single time.

Most people think they need a new door when they feel a draft.

Most of the time, it’s just worn out weather stripping.

That small gap at the top of your door lets outside air in and your conditioned air out. Your furnace or AC ends up working harder, and you feel it in your energy bill.

For this one we:
• replaced the weather stripping
• adjusted hinges and strike plate
• removed, lubricated, and reinstalled the deadbolt and handle so everything lines up properly

Now the door actually seals the way it should.

If your door feels drafty, doesn’t close tight, or you can see light coming through, it’s usually a simple fix.
