The only crust I tend to like is on my lunchtime sandwich!! π€ Oooo and pie!! Ha. Mmm... pie.
πͺπ I'm still feeling the muscles inside my muscles from this farm job on Monday. Freeze-thaw-freeze makes for a lovely packed layer of 'don't-need-the-gym-for-a-week' type of work, with a hard (π non-pie) crust on the top. May not look like much... π₯΅ but it's heavy, watered down, and requires some good ol' metal shovels to do the trick. My preference is usually on elbow grease over machines... gas, load, unload, slow walk row by row, freeze to the bone, and load (wipe down, maintenance, oil)... or just get out, break a sweat, and get it done. There's something so satisfying knowing you worked for it! (Client preference, job type, and size of area also play a crucial role in the decision).
This client needed access to their truck (top picture), shop (not pictured), and since the roads are nice, they'd like access to their shed (bottom picture) and not have to wait until fall 2030 for this shady spot to melt.
After 2 hrs... these areas are ready for the π snowfall warnings!! Mother nature sure does like to change her mind. But at least it'll be easier to clear away.
Safe keepings friends.
π± Spring is here!!..it'll feel like it soooo soon.
