It’s a known fact that geothermal, ground source heat pumps last over 25 years, compared to a traditional natural gas furnace average lifespan of 15, 60% more life.

That’s not counting the ground loop which lasts well over 100 years, continuing to heat and cool the home with 400% efficiency (meaning for every $1 paid for you get $4 free from the earth) and in cooling mode it’s 800% efficient 🤯

For reference, a high efficiency natural gas furnace ranges from 90-98% mean for every $1 you pay for you get almost a $1 of heat back.

Installed a brand new Net Zero heat pump in this home last week and tied it into their existing ground loop.

Geothermal is an investment up front but the loop lasts well over 100 years (some estimate up to 600+ years 🤯) AND the heat pumps last an average of 20-25 years leading far less replacement costs compared to natural gas…

But the real WIN? You own your own heat source for life and have a cash flowing asset in your own back yard!!

Very happy with the quality and progress of this 9-ton geothermal project built by - combining both solar and geo to bring a fully net zero, multi-unit residential project to life for a client of ours.

Not only is this a HUGE WIN for the environment but it also allows the developer to cash flow monthly in more ways with their rental tenants, it allows for instant access to equity which can be “water-falled” into another project or kept as cash and qualifies them for a 30% refund on the geothermal and solar expenses!
