Recently finished a refinish project that included a complete re-cladding of three flights of stairs. Refinish of the treads and then install new stringers, risers and capping. It's not a small undertaking, but it sure looks great in the end!

2 flights of stairs and 4000+ sqft of Mirage Hardwood Flooring "First Kiss" Oak. Completely timeless. When selecting flooring, we highly suggest not looking at what the current trend is. Rather, look at what never goes out of style.

Whole home White Oak install, sand and finish. Mainfloor herringbone, upstairs straight lay and a flight of stairs to finish it off. Had some problems with tannin pulling on the herringbone, but we got it looking beautiful in the end.

This one was a little tricky. We've installed many single piece tread/ riser stairs before, but they always had stringers on the sides which gave us a little wiggle room. Installing tight to drywall was a challenge because drywall varies more than a stringer. Nevertheless, we had fun on this one for and looking forward to the upper flight next week!

Many exotics have red tones, though we can't fully eliminate that characteristic we can stain it into a more subdued brown tone. That was what we did here starting off the year with a 3100sqft refinish with two flights of stairs. 3 new projects start Monday, so we're resting up! Have a great weekend everyone!
