🛠️ Rust Never Sleeps—But Neither Do We!
​They say a truck is only as strong as its frame. We recently took our F-350 work truck into the shop for some much-needed structural surgery. After years of heavy use and salty roads, the box crossmembers were rusted through and crushed.

​The Rock Solid Process:
​Strip Down: We pulled the box and flipped it to get full access to the underbelly.

​Fabrication: Cut out the rotted steel, cleaned up the surfaces, and welded in heavy-duty new crossmembers.

​Frame Protection: While the bed was off, we didn't stop there. We stripped the surface rust off the truck frame and gave it a fresh coat of protective paint.

​Winter Prep: Finished it off with a full undercoating to block out the salt and prevent future corrosion.

​Whether it’s your daily driver or your fleet’s workhorse, we provide the fabrication and mechanical work needed to keep you on the road and out of the scrapyard.

When the ground freezes, the shop heaters kick on! ❄️🔥

While our machines are off the job sites for the winter, Rock Solid Excavation and Mechanical is officially shifting gears. We’re moving inside to focus on the "Mechanical" side of the business, and the shop is already humming.
​From structural welding to full mechanical overhauls, we’re here to make sure your equipment and vehicles are ready for whatever winter throws at them.
​Check out a couple of our recent shop projects:
​1️⃣ Skid Steer Snowblower Restoration: This unit came to us in rough shape and wasn't functional. We performed a complete overhaul, reinforced the steel, and did a full mechanical refresh. It’s now back in action and moving snow like a brand-new machine.
​2️⃣ Custom Trailer: This was a ground-up project built to meet a customer's specific needs. From custom fabrication and welding, paint, and a complete lighting and wiring job, everything was done in house.
