We always seem to get calls to take over on failed renovations started by unqualified contractors. Thats ok though we are more then happy to help a customer in need. This one is up in Port Hardy. I didn't get as many before pictures as I like but the first couple pictures show what we were up againts. Rott that had been hidden all over the place, headers that have been butchered with a Sawzall, exterior doors installed backwards, areas with tyvek and no plywood behind it, like entire sheets missing on the home, plywood lapped overtop of other plywood on the outside, no stairs in the house the list goes on and on. Did I mention this house had siding on it and had floors being installed when we first saw it? The crew and I went up there this week and in 3 days we were able to reframe the majority of the exterior of the home to fix all the rott and give the client some nice big windows so they can enjoy thier ocean view. build some functioning stairs, and take out all the walls in the main area for an open concept design and get this renovation back on track the right way 💪. Thanks to my crew for the long days!
