This homeowner spends most of their summer up at the lake. They didn’t want to spend their days at home picking weeds and fighting their fence line. The yard needed some love, and needed to be set up to be low maintenance.

The rock around the edge is clean and will HELP keep weeds down. If not, it’ll be easy to pick/spray to keep the yard looking sharp.

It’s not always fancy, but a a clean edge and some rock can take a yard across the finish line!

What do you think?

The sport court is finished for this client!

What started as a parking pad has turned into a massive sport court for their kids to play on. Hockey, basketball, roller blading, you name it!

This was a big undertaking and we’re super happy with how it turned out!

Backyards can be practical and beautiful, but they can also be fun!

Flying solo has lots of perks (always get to choose the music, lots of time to contemplate) but god damn it’s hard to move a compactor solo.

It really isn’t exciting, but it’s necessary.

Having your project last longer than a season, or a pair of pants, or whatever, is something that matters.

So even though base prep seems boring, and sometimes unnecessary/expensive, it really is essential to the longevity of your project.

Before/afters are cooler, but seeing it done right helps a person sleep at night!

Which is more satisfying?

A yard cleanup or a building project?

Both! But in different ways. Sometimes we’re just tidying yards up, and sometimes we’re building something brand new. Regardless, both of these things can revive a space. That’s what we love about yard maintenance and landscaping, they’re both jobs that produce major transformations.

Multiple trips to the gravel pit means lots is happening!

It’s heavy, and it’s dusty, but it’s awesome! Something satisfying about getting base laid for whatever might be laid on top of it. In this case, we helped a client convert an old RV park to something a bit more useable for their family!

Sod down!

As part of a larger, ongoing project, we had the opportunity to lay some sod for a client who wants to make their backyard simpler and more uniform.

We prepped the side of this slope, an old rock garden and an area along the fence for some fresh sod! It didn’t hurt that it was a classic Saskatchewan summer evening to boot!

Like a fresh coat of paint in a room, new sod makes a yard feel finished!

A big pile of trees USUALLY means a weekend of cleanup.

We can take care of it in no time! Let us do the heavy lifting so you can do literally anything else on your precious summertime weekends.

Tree trimming can be messy, but it needs to be done. Laying sod can be messy, but it needs to be done. Refreshing mulch beds can be messy, but needs to be done.

Late afternoon of landscaping!

It’s been a wild week. This goes way back to last Wednesday. Had a dump run and then got a yard prepped for some new ground cover. Had to make a stop at for some landscape timbers to make some new borders, and then got some beds cleaned up and ready for rock.

Not always glamorous, but it’s gotta be done!
