Community impact isn’t just built by individuals, it’s powered by team efforts. 💚

We are so grateful for partners like Breck Construction, who have committed to volunteering with us once a month for nearly two years. Having their team bring their energy into our warehouse means the world to our staff and the families we serve.

You can support the future of our community, too! Join us in building a new home by donating to the Nutrien Plant Possibility Campaign so we can continue providing vital food support and learning programs for years to come. 🍽️

The best part? Volunteering is for everyone. 💚

2026 WESK Entrepreneurs of the Year Rooted & Rising honourees:
Bobbylynn Stewart & Sarah Johnston.

The Rooted & Rising category celebrates entrepreneurs who are deeply grounded in Saskatchewan while growing their influence and impact beyond the province. They lead with integrity, create opportunities for others, and carry Saskatchewan's values with them as they expand.

Bobbylynn Stewart (Breck Construction ) – Breck Construction 🏗️
Bobbylynn has grown Breck Construction from a Saskatchewan-based company into a multi-trade contractor operating across Western and Central Canada, all while keeping her head office and leadership team firmly rooted in Saskatchewan. She actively advocates for women in construction and mentors the next generation of leaders.

"Saskatchewan is where I built my business, developed my leadership style, and learned the values that continue to guide me today. The province's culture of hard work, integrity, resilience, and community has shaped both who I am as an entrepreneur and the culture we have built at Breck Construction."

Sarah Johnston (Atlas York Insurance ) – Atlas York Insurance 📋
Sarah has built Atlas York from a startup into one of Canada's most recognized independent insurance firms, all while remaining deeply connected to Saskatchewan. As the company expands into Alberta and Manitoba, she is intentional about ensuring Saskatchewan remains the heart of their identity, creating jobs, supporting communities, and proving that growth and values can go hand in hand.

"Sarah Johnston exemplifies Saskatchewan leadership: ambitious yet grounded, growth-oriented yet community-minded, and committed to creating opportunities for others as she succeeds."

Canada’s nuclear future is gaining real momentum, and Breck Construction was proud to be part of the conversation at CNA 2026.

Our CEO, Bobbylynn Stewart, spoke on the panel “Power with Purpose: Expanding Supplier Capacity for Canada’s Nuclear Future,” hosted by AmeliaAlliance and the OCNI. The session reinforced that nuclear readiness needs to be built intentionally and early to support the pace of development ahead, with a broad and inclusive supplier base.

Saskatchewan showed up in a big way. The growing depth of expertise and engagement coming out of SK reflects how capacity is being built across the country, and the level of coordination required to deliver what’s next.

It’s not all fun and games at the Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum…

Or is it?

One word to describe the Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum? 👇

Josie put our team on the spot to sum up the show in a single word…safe to say the energy was high.

Big thanks to SIMSA (Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Suppliers Association), the Saskatchewan Mining Association, and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Trade & Export Development for putting on another great event.

Huge thanks to the team at the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre for everything you do day in and day out.

We just show up once a month, but they’re the ones doing the real heavy lifting (and way faster than us, to be honest).

Grateful to be a small part of it. See you next round 🙌
