🎨 Did you know that a good paint job is about 50% prep work?

When you see a freshly painted room, it’s easy to notice the beautiful new colour—but there is so much work that goes into getting those walls ready before the first coat of paint even goes on.

Walls need to be properly patched and repaired. Caulking needs to be done. Everything needs to be sanded smooth. And if spraying is involved, floors, furniture, and everything that needs protecting has to be carefully covered.

If the prep work isn’t done properly, even the best paint and the most beautiful colour won’t give you the finished result you’re looking for.

There is so much that goes into every single paint job that hardly ever gets noticed—but it makes all the difference in the final result. ✨

Good prep = a beautiful finish. ❤️

Very impressed with the service from Prairie Girl Grooming! ❤️

She handled all three of my boys so well, especially this wild little mama’s boy! 😂❤️

I absolutely love that she is mobile, which makes getting all three boys cleaned up so much easier and convenient!

Thank you so much for taking such good care of my boys!

Sneak peek! 👀❤️

Once I found out this house by Touchstone Homes was going to be staged, I decided to only share a couple of areas of this beautiful transformation for now. 😉

What a gorgeous home this is! 😍

Everything from the kitchen, which I’ll be showing soon… to the accent walls, bathrooms, lighting and so much more was so beautifully picked out.

The stairway’s main colour and accent wall are painted in White Dove OC-17.

The master bedroom walls are also painted in White Dove, with the accent wall painted in Artichoke 2141-10.

So many beautiful details throughout this home! I can’t wait to show you more! ❤️🎨

There’s been a little bit of confusion lately about my “crew,” so I thought I’d clear that up! 😊

Way back when, I did have a few employees for a short period of time, but for the majority of my painting career, it has been just me! 🎨

So when you see me show up to a job, you can pretty much say… the whole crew is here! 😂

And it’s not just the painting! I’m there for every step of the process — from the prep work and making sure everything is properly ready to be painted, to cutting in, rolling, finishing, and making sure every little detail is as good as it can be.

When I’m painting, I’m there. I take pride in making sure the job is done right and that every detail gets the attention it deserves. ❤️

And now I’m excited to be starting this beautiful new build for touchstone homes! 🏡✨ I can’t wait to share the progress and watch this home come to life, one room at a time!

One woman. One paintbrush. The whole crew. Crew of 1.🎨❤️

✨ Wow! The Travelodge Hotel on Circle Drive continues to renovate! ✨

This time, it’s their entrance, lobby, and hallway—and I’m so excited to be part of this ongoing transformation!

First up are the ceilings, which I recently painted, and WOW, what a difference a fresh coat of paint makes! Painted in Simply White OC-117… Simply Stunning! 😉🤍

The wallpaper will also be getting changed over by another contractor, and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!

For the parts I’m taking care of—the painting—I’m looking forward to transforming the chair rail, doors, trim, and lower area.

The finished change is going to be breathtaking!

What a colourful makeover! 🌈✨

The exterior of the Village, located in the same building as the YWCA in Saskatoon, received a fresh new look! The canopy was brightened up with new paint, as well the railings received a good sanding before bringing them back to life!

The bike racks got some love too, adding a little more colour to the space! 🎨

A little paint can make such a BIG difference! ❤️

A huge thank you to the Village for the opportunity to paint for them again, it is always such a pleasure!

❤️ Basement Makeover! ❤️

Have you recently moved into a new home and want to make it feel more like your style? Or have you lived in your home for quite some time and are ready to give it a fresh new look?

This new home received a stunning transformation that completely changed the feel of this basement!

My client chose Chantilly Lace OC-65 for the walls and fireplace, giving this space a bright, fresh, and beautiful new vibe! ✨

What a difference a fresh coat of paint can make!
