Meet Robert, a Welder with STC Industrial Contracting, who has been part of the STC Industrial Group team for 6 years!

What does his role involve? Robert’s work goes beyond welding and fabrication. He’s constantly problem-solving, assessing risks, and finding safe and effective ways to get the job done.

What inspired him to work in industry? Robert enjoys putting his skills to the test and accomplishing difficult tasks. He’s someone who appreciates a challenge and takes pride in getting the job done right.

Something you may not know: Robert is a veteran!

What makes STCIG a great place to work? Robert says it’s the company’s rapid growth and with growth comes opportunity.

His advice to someone joining the team:
“Work safely, then worry about quality, then efficiency.”

Meet Chloe, our Accounting Clerk at Keys Welding Service, who has been part of the team for almost 5 years!

Over the past year, Chloe has continued to grow in her role, taking on additional responsibilities and consistently showing the dedication, reliability, and hard work she brings to the team every day. We’re proud to see her take on new challenges and continue to grow with KWS.

🎨 Fun fact: In her spare time, Chloe enjoys creating realism portraits and drawings.

Last Friday, we had the privilege of attending Treaty Day at Muskoday First Nation.

Three members of the STC Industrial Group team joined the celebrations, taking part in the day’s activities and spending time connecting and engaging with community members.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this important celebration and to continue building meaningful relationships with the communities we serve.

Thank you to Muskoday First Nation for welcoming us and for hosting such a great day!

Meet Khail, one of our Welders at STC Industrial Contracting! Khail has been part of the team for eight years, bringing his skills and experience to structural steel welding, steel installation, and mill maintenance at one of the mine sites.

What inspired Khail to get into the industry?
It all started with a high school welding class. That early introduction sparked an interest in the trade and led him to build a rewarding career in welding.

What does Khail enjoy most about his job?
For Khail, it's coming to work every day in a stress-free environment where he can focus on doing quality work alongside a supportive team.

What might people not know about Khail?
Before becoming a welder, Khail worked at a grocery store!

What does Khail enjoy outside of work?
When he's off the clock, you'll often find him out fishing and enjoying time outdoors.

What makes STC Industrial Group a great place to work?
According to Khail, it's the great people he gets to work with every day and knowing that safety is always a top priority.

What advice would Khail give to someone joining the team?
"There are great people here with lots of skill, and there's always something new to learn."
