We are very grateful to be nominated for green business of the year!

Samya Contracting provides realistic and cost effective energy efficiency upgrades, building and renovation methods. From working with energy rebates and built green programs to using reclaimed and naturally sourced materials for building, Samya Contracting is influencing clients towards choosing green. Using the scientific principles of Vastu, we design building systems to work with the correct directional positions of the primary elements: earth (structural/site selection), air (ventilation/insulation), fire (solar/heat/electrical), water (plumbing/drainage/catchment), space (living areas/furniture/fixture placement).

Our Story

At Samya Home we are here to serve you in every level of construction & design from drawings to finishing. We manage maintenance, new building projects & upkeep for homes, hotels & resorts. Over the years we have worked with many contractors & managed and coordinated many sub-contractors on Salt Spring Island.

We have over 15 years of experience in renovations, construction, graphic & interior design. We are well versed in Salt Spring Island land use bylaws, zoning & working with the CRD & Islands Trust. We can prepare rezoning proposals, subdivision proposals, strata subdivisions including creating bylaws, preparing meetings & legal documentation. We can work with real estate agents, touring buyers, negotiating sales, preparing real estate promotional packages including purchase packages, flyers, websites, doing photo & video shoots, PowerPoint presentations & public speaking.

We have also spent many years studying and practicing Vastu (Indian interior design) & Feng Shui. We can apply the principles of these ancient elemental arts of placement, direction, decor & colour selection to any project from initial drawings & building site selection, to correcting bad energy flow in established buildings, rooms & homes.

Depending on the project, we can work with our team, join your team or bring in our own sub-contractors on whichever project you might like to propose.
