The garlic crop was great this year. Harvested about a week ago dried for a few days, then trimmed the roots off, cut the stems, did a final clean and now they have a few more days to dry and allow the necks to constrict and dry out. This will last us the winter no problem. Will also dehydrate some for garlic powder.

This Saturday is Seedy Saturday on Salt Spring Island. This year it will be different and will be hosted at the farm stands around the island. We will have Fernwood School Garden program veggie starts with all proceeds going to the program. We will also have lots of seeds available for trade or free or by donation whatever you feel is right. So excited for this wonderful season opener opportunity to get growing!

Veggie starts available Saturday morning:
- Arugula
- Asian greens
- Spinach
- Mustard greens
- Wasabi greens
- Broccoli
- Joi Choi
- Leeks
