Johnny Walker
I had the honour of working with John for a number of years. In that time he taught me much about roofing, as the man was an encyclopedia of roofing knowledge. He eagerly answered all of my questions and mentored me as we took on bigger and more challenging projects. Johns humour, work ethic and joy towards life made him and I become friends. Our crews loved him and his sarcasm, as they always teased him about his age and he would snap back with retort that would make everyone erupt in laughter. But when you had a serious question, he was patient and kind in his explanation of things. John led a full life and I am confident that everyone who knew him will remember him for who was and smile when they think about him. John was one of the coolest guys I had ever met. I will be forever in debt to him for the knowledge he imparted on me and I will always celebrate the memories we shared.
May he rest in peace.
