Backflow Testing!!!

Do you have a backflow preventer in your plumbing system?
Do you need one?…

One of the many services we provide at TradeSmith Mechanical is backflow testing. Cory spent this past week training a new group of backflow testers with Maintenance Training Systems Inc. He instructed 4 gruelling days worth of theory and practical hands on application of backflow testing procedures and cross-connection control, in an effort to help them pass a written and practical exam on day 5. So, to say we know a thing or two about backflow testing, prevention and cross-connections is an understatement.

Inspecting facilities for a cross-connection (non-potable substance that is in contact, or might come into contact with a potable water system) is another service we can provide, then recommending the most appropriate form or backflow protection.

THIS IS ALL TO ENSURE A SAFE AND HEALTHY DRINKING WATER SUPPLY FOR YEARS TO COME!!! 💧

November 13, 2019 my Dad passed away from a short battle with cancer.
He instilled in me the concept of living based on your own personal value set.
Today I’m thankful for his wisdom and direction when I was a young man. My focus was on the “big” hourly wage of $19 that was offered to shovel molybdenum at a local mine. Instead I took the $12.50/hour he offered with the hope for a better future.
Well it paid off. Thanks Dad 🙏

Hello!
My name is Cory Smith. Within the last year my family and I have moved to Salmon Arm.
I have started TradeSmith Mechanical Services Ltd. to provide plumbing, heating and waterworks services in the Shuswap, Interior and North Okanagan areas. More so, I hope to support the community not only with my trade skills, but my volunteer activities as well.
We specialize in residential service, replacements and new installations. If you are in need of a new water heater, furnace replacement, renovating your kitchen or bathroom...the list goes on, give me a shout!
