Scars from wire pulling are always a concern for commercial properties. So many factors come into play such as existing sod condition, native material the sod is growing in, moisture content, etc. This photo is a good example of our goal when finishing our repairs on a wire/poly pull sod scar. The better we can leave it for our customer, the less remediation they need to take to make it invisible.

This has been a year where we saw quite a few large pipe repairs. We have done 5 x 6" pipe repairs this year (4 of them tees) and we still have another 6" tee pending for October. Then there was this 8" pipe that cracked over 7 feet lengthwise starting at the gasketed end. Stress on larger pipe can take years to finally fail but it to will break if installed improperly or shifts due to settlement over time.

Last week we uncovered this 10 inch mainline that was encased in concrete to find the PVC had bulged due to heat from the winterization process. Readjusted the pipe and tightened down all restraints. Then we thrusted it correctly in case it ever needs to be dug up again.
