Today, we’re sharing a floor plan with a name that carries a little extra meaning.

Collier Homes has roots in Newfoundland, and our floor plans are named after communities across the province — including The Gander.

On September 11, 2001, the small town of Gander, Newfoundland welcomed thousands of stranded airline passengers when flights were diverted following the attacks in the United States. In the days that followed, the community opened its homes, schools and hearts to complete strangers.

Today, as we remember the lives lost on September 11, we also remember the kindness, generosity and hospitality shown in places like Gander.

A small Newfoundland town that reminded the world what it means to take care of one another. ❤️
