*Atlantic Potash advances 2026 drilling program near Sussex*

Atlantic Potash Millstream Corporation (APMC) has completed site preparation for its 2026 core drilling program at the Millstream Potash Project near Sussex in Kings County.

The company says the drilling program represents an important next step toward advancing the project toward a pre-feasibility study.

Preparing the drill site presented a significant engineering challenge, as the selected location sits on a 60-degree slope. APMC used custom terracing to create a stable working area large enough to accommodate the drilling rig, approximately 1,100 metres of drill pipe, supporting equipment and a site office.

The company also upgraded and constructed approximately two kilometres of access road through the Millstream woodlands, connecting the site to the public highway.

“We have invested more than $17 million to get Millstream to this point,” said Keith Attoe, CEO and director of APMC.

“Rock mechanics data from this program will determine how we design the mine – water management, extraction sequencing, surface protection. This is the work that turns a resource into a mine.”

APMC has signed a contract with Logan Drilling to complete two large-diameter core holes, each extending approximately 1,100 metres underground.

The holes will use PQ, or large-diameter, core, which the company says is required to obtain the rock mechanics information needed for mine design.

Core samples will be analyzed by Ercosplan, which continues to provide geology and mining engineering services to the project. The company has experience working with salt-bed geology similar to that found in New Brunswick.

Before full core drilling begins, a local contractor has been hired to install 10-inch surface casing. The casing will extend through the overburden to bedrock and provide a stable starting point for the drilling operation.

APMC says full core drilling is expected to begin shortly.

The Millstream Potash Project has a measured resource of 52.1 million tonnes of potassium chloride (KCl), according to an NI 43-101 resource estimate.

The company projects the deposit could support a 25-year mine life, producing approximately two million tonnes annually at an average KCl grade of 32.6 per cent.

The project is located approximately 70 kilometres from the Port of Saint John, which handles more than two million tonnes of potash annually and provides access to international markets, including Brazil.

APMC says the project also benefits from existing rail infrastructure, available port capacity and access to natural gas.

The deposit is located in an area with a history of commercial potash production, which the company says provides an established geological setting for potential development.

The 2026 drilling program is expected to provide additional information needed to assess mine design considerations, including rock stability, water management and extraction methods as the Millstream project moves toward its next stage of development.

Atlantic Potash Millstream Corporation is a Canadian exploration and development company with potash mineral rights in a confirmed, advanced-stage potash deposit at Millstream, New Brunswick. For more information, visit www.apmcpotash.ca.
