Inspired by the pace and charm of small-town Pennsylvania, this backyard retreat was designed to feel like a destination, without ever leaving home.

At its heart is a covered entertainment pavilion featuring NatureKast Weatherproof Cabinetry, bringing refined design and enduring performance to the outdoor kitchen and bar. Surrounding lounge spaces, a custom pergola, and a compact Soake Pools plunge pool complete the resort-inspired setting, proving that luxury is less about square footage and more about intention.

For this waterfront home on Buck Bayou, the vision was to create a poolside cabana fully connected to the architecture – a natural extension of the home rather than an addition.

Designer Julie Whitten drew from the home’s clean lines and understated detailing to create a space that feels cohesive and welcoming. Generous prep surfaces, a full suite of appliances, and bar seating designed for gathering support everything from relaxed afternoons by the pool to evenings spent preparing the day’s fresh catch.
