OLD STUCCO, PROPERLY RESTORED.

Extensive preparation went into restoring this old stucco home. The existing paint was peeling and flaking throughout, with numerous cracks, holes and damaged sections that all needed to be addressed before recoating.

We removed the failing paint, repaired the damaged areas properly with stucco, and filled and reinforced the cracks. The entire home was then sprayed with stucco primer, followed by two coats of a premium silicone-enhanced elastomeric coating by Sto in a completely new colour.

Sto’s elastomeric coating is specifically designed for stucco and is applied significantly thicker than regular exterior paint, creating a durable, flexible and highly protective finish that bonds properly to the surface.
This wasn’t simply a colour change—it was a complete stucco restoration from the underlying surface to the final protective coating.

Custom Plaster Fireplace Feature

From cement board to a fully hand-finished feature spanning nearly the entire height of this two-storey space.

We reinforced the cement board with basecoat and fiberglass mesh, creating a solid, continuous substrate before applying Sto Freeform as the decorative finish.

The Freeform was hand troweled to create subtle movement, depth and natural variation throughout the surface. To complete the look, Sto tique was sponge applied, adding another layer of dimension and character to the finish.
A lot of scaffold, a lot of trowel work, and multiple stages went into creating a seamless custom finish at this scale.

Custom Stone Plaster Range Hood

Finished using Sto Freeform, hand applied using Venetian plaster troweling techniques to create natural movement, depth and subtle marbling throughout the surface.

A unique application that transforms Sto Freeform into a custom stone-inspired finish, with hand-created veining and variation that relies heavily on skilled trowel work to achieve the final look.

The finished surface was then protected with a natural plaster sealer, maintaining the raw, natural appearance of the finish while adding lasting protection.

This stucco entrance had developed heavy algae staining, weathering, cracking and areas of damage that were in need of some attention.

We thoroughly pressure washed the entire stucco surface, completed the necessary stucco repairs, filled cracks and prepared everything for paint.

Once the repairs were complete, we spray-applied a premium stucco paint featuring self-cleaning technology and enhanced resistance to algae and organic staining, helping the surface stay cleaner and maintain its appearance longer.

A fresh, clean finish with the damaged areas repaired and the existing stucco restored and protected.

Wood siding to EIFS stucco transformation.

Complete EIFS stucco installation to give this addition a clean, modern exterior and a completely updated look.
We installed the sto system, gold coat, reinforced basecoat with fiberglass mesh, primer and finish coat to create a durable, seamless exterior finish.
-Also parged the foundation

A massive transformation from the original wood siding and a much cleaner look that ties in with the rest of the home.

Stucco Restoration | Clean. Protect. Refresh.

Years of algae staining had taken over the stucco on this home, so we gave it a full exterior refresh.

We repaired damage, fixed and addressed all hairline cracks found on inspection.

We thoroughly power washed all stucco surfaces to remove the heavy algae and organic buildup, then carefully masked and protected the surrounding brick, windows, roofing and finished surfaces.

Once prepped, the stucco was spray-applied with primer followed by a specialized exterior stucco coating designed with biomimetic principles to help resist future algae and organic growth.

We also painted the louvers as they were in rough shape as well.

The result: a clean, bright, uniform finish that restores the stucco and helps keep it looking fresh longer.

Another exterior brought back into shape.

For this project, we completed a range of repairs and refinishing work, including:
• Repaired, recoated and resurfaced 12 decorative sill mouldings
• Repaired multiple damaged areas throughout the stucco
• Restored a damaged panel that had been struck by a snow plow
• Refinished several panels to blend the repaired areas back into the existing finish
• Parged the entire foundation for a clean, consistent appearance

A mix of damage, wear and impact repairs — all properly restored and refinished to give the exterior a clean, uniform finish again.
