Recently, some of the team from DKI - Miller was proud to attend the Birchway Niagara Book Riot, an incredible community event that has been bringing book lovers together for more than 40 years while raising critical funds to support survivors of abuse throughout South Niagara. The event fills an entire arena with books, games, puzzles, music, and more, with proceeds helping fund essential services and safe shelter spaces for those who need them most.

As a proud sponsor of the event, including serving as one of the official bag sponsors, we were honoured to support such a meaningful initiative and help contribute to its continued success.

Birchway Niagara plays a vital role in our community by providing shelter, support programs, advocacy, education, and outreach services for individuals and families experiencing abuse. Their work changes lives and creates safer futures for those who need it most.

At the end of the day, the work speaks for itself. But what matters more is how people feel when it is all said and done.

Today, DKI - Miller was proud to be part of McHappy Day in support of Ronald McDonald House Canada. As a National Mission Partner, this is a cause that hits home. It’s about keeping families together, providing comfort during the most difficult times, and making sure no one goes through it alone.

From behind the counter to out in the community, today was about giving our time, our energy, and our support to something bigger than ourselves. And that’s what makes it meaningful.
