2024 is turning into the year of the bridge replacement!

We recently wrapped up another great project for the Niagara Parks Commission - the Black Creek Bridge Replacement, located along the Niagara Parkway in Fort Erie, ON.

As always, it was a pleasure to work with Rankin Construction!

Another great project in the books!

We teamed up with Rankin on this design-build project for Ontario Power Generation, to replace the Tailrace Deck at the Sir Adam Beck Generating Station, located downstream of Niagara Falls.

Another Niagara Region bridge project completed alongside Rankin Construction!

The new Highway 20 Bridge has a 32m span and is located adjacent to the Welland Canal, 10km west of Niagara Falls.

We're proud to have been a part of another award winning project!

We collaborated with Parsons on the design and site inspection of the bridge structure at Long Point Causeway. The project was recognized with an Award of Distinction by ACEC-Ontario.

We are excited to share another successfully completed bridge project, and this time it's Pine Cove Bridge on Lakeshore Road in the City of Burlington!

The new precast-concrete rigid frame bridge was designed by ELLIS Engineering and constructed by Rankin Construction this year.

Beautifully backdropped by Lake Ontario, the new structure features open views to the lake and decorative concrete barrier walls.

A special thanks to the City of Burlington and their excellent staff for a smooth project from start to finish.

ELLIS Engineering Inc. is proud to share another successful project:

Gibson Street Pedestrian Bridge replacement, constructed by Anthony's Excavating Central Inc., with ELLIS Engineering as the design engineer.

The new replacement bridge features an entirely aluminum superstructure, IPE hardwood deck, and built-in LED illumination, and carries the Bruce Trail over Forty Mile Creek in the Town of Grimsby.

Another culvert replacement project in the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake in the books! This time it was the Simcoe Street Culvert.

Duane and Sarah did a great job in helping ensure that this project was completed on time and under budget!

We're thrilled to wrap up another great project!

This time, it's the Long Point Causeway Bridge Replacement in Norfolk County.

Construction of the new bridge was completed in 2022 by contractor Sierra Bridge Inc., with ELLIS Engineering Inc. and Parsons Corporation as the design engineers.

Well done to the entire project team on the transformation of the Rankine Generating Station next to Niagara Falls! The team that we were a part of was recognized with the grand prize award at the 2022 Niagara Biennial Design Awards.
